Museum Interpreting in Action!
Students from the course TRAN 6306: Consecutive Interpreting II – Putonghua and English, guided by Prof. Sophie Ling-chia Wei, had an inspiring and hands-on learning experience during a recent museum tour led by Ms. Yixin Tang.

As part of the practical training, each student took turns interpreting for the audience, gaining valuable real-world experience in a professional setting. The tour not only deepened their understanding of the exhibition content but also challenged them to apply interpreting techniques in a live context.

The exhibition, titled "The Bei Shan Tang Legacy: Chinese Seals ", offered rich cultural and historical insights that enriched the students’ language and cultural competencies.
