A Critical Analysis of Computer-aided Translation Systems |

This project analyzes over 100 computer-aided translation systems on the market, including the standalone versions, professional versions, server versions, and Internet versions, in particular the popular cloud-based systems in recent years.
This database serves a useful function in the teaching of computer-aided translation courses and machine translation courses offered by the M.A. in Computer-aided Translation Programme and undergraduate courses on translation technology. Teachers and students have access to this database to gain knowledge and skills of machine / computer-aided translation. The data collected formed the core part of the book《翻譯科技新視野》 authored by Prof. Chan Sin-wai and published by Tsing Hua University Press in 2014. |
