Mock Trial Justice Education Project 2022-2023
 
The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention organizes two programmes and the details are as below:
 
Witness workshop (in Chinese: #絕無虛言?!工作坊)
Target: Tertiary students (except law students)
Activity: Students receive relevant trainings and play the role of a witness in a mock trial.
Date and time: 29 Jan 2023 2-6pm | 18 or 19 Feb 2023 AM/PM | 15 Apr 2023 AM/PM

Mock Trial Competitions – Tertiary Section
Target: Tertiary students
Activity: Students form a group of four to six, with one law student at most. They will receive training provided by practicing solicitor or barrister on case analysis and examination skills and play the role of lawyers and witnesses in the competition in High Court.
Coaching period: Jan-May, 2023
Date of competition: 7 May 2023 (Sun) or 21 May 2023 (Sun)

Mock Trial Justice Education Project started in 2007. The project aims to nurture our next generation’s understanding of justice and rule of law with a full year of programmes, Mock Trial competitions, and education workshops.
