Our Alumna, Xiaojing Zeng, Heading for the Ricci Institute for Her Research
| In 2018, I obtained my master's degree in Translation from CUHK, and now I'm pursuing my doctoral studies in University of Galway, Ireland. As part of the PIETRA project funded by European Research Council, I examine the intersection of Catholic translation and print culture in Late Qing. Utilizing rich collections and especially the primary sources stored in Boston College, such as the works translated by Li Wenyu, my research aims to ascertain the production process of Catholic translation in this period and how developments in print technology influenced patterns of religious dissemination. |
