Our student, Jack Ho, served as a bilingual emcee for the CUHK Arts 60th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Lecture, by Dr. Lesley Lau Fung-ha, the head of the Art Promotion Office and the founding curator of Oi!. Let’s explore his reflection on this meaningful experience:

I sincerely appreciate this opportunity to be the event emcee for this CUHK Arts 60th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Lecture. Being an emcee at CUHK for the first time was a truly challenging yet rewarding experience. Not only did it provide me with a valuable lesson on handling the dynamic of an event, but it also allowed me to delve into my passion for the art industry. Through the lecture by Dr. Lesley Lau Fung-ha, the head of the Art Promotion Office and the founding curator of Oi!, I gained more profound insights into the art ecosystem and the work of art promotion in Hong Kong. As an art enthusiast, this experience has further broadened my understanding of this industry, contributing to the future path exploration of art careers! It was my honor to learn from an experienced professor in another department and participate in this meaningful occasion.
