Our Alumna, Steven Wong, is Admitted to Master of Translation at Beijing Foreign Studies University
| Hello! I am Polly from the class of 2023. I am very grateful that I am admitted to Master of Translation at Beijing Foreign Studies University in the upcoming semester. |
| Memories in CUHK are too numerous to list, but the best are definitely made up of the translation program. Kind and thoughtful guidance from teachers in the final year project, constant opportunities to read and translate literary texts of different genres in literature translation lessons, hands-on experience in using CAT in UNAI translation project (and many more) have all enabled me to gain comprehensive knowledge about translation. CUHK has also offered me an opportunity to join an exchange program in Beijing which has sparked my further interest in translation by taking translation lessons. Driven by the fruitful experience in CUHK, I hope I can devote myself to continuing my education in translation. Thank you CUHK translation for making this happen once again! |
