Department of Translation Students Triumph at the 49th Hong Kong Youth Translation Competition!
| Warm congratulations to our students from the Department of Translation at CUHK who have achieved outstanding results at the 49th Hong Kong Youth Translation Competition 全港青年翻譯比賽! In the Open Section (Chinese to English), our students Hu Xiangyi placed 2nd, while Chan Hoi Wan and Liu Chun Wai received Merits. In the Open Sector (English to Chinese), our students Liu Chun Wai placed 2nd, and Hu Xiangyi and Huang Hoi Tung received Merits. We are extremely proud of our Translation students for their impressive achievements. The Competition was organised by the Hong Kong Youth Cultural & Arts Competitions, in cooperation with The Hong Kong Translation Society as a co-organizer, and under the auspices of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors. Our faculty members Prof. Lingjie Ji and Dr. Li Li served as Chief Judge and Judge for Junior Student Section (E-C) in the Competition. |
