Research Statement
My research interest lies at the intersection between Translation Studies and Media Studies. I am particularly interested in engaging contemporary translation theories (e.g. the post-translation theory) with the critical scholarship in Media Studies, in description of popular media reception phenomena. I am a big fan of Edwin Gentzler. I am an advocate of the “outward turn”. |
